There’s nothing quite like a simple shoot at your home “studio” during breakfast; had to improvise a high-hat for the camera and Errol Morris’ new book was, in addition to being a good read, the right height for the task. I also needed to bounce some light so I rigged a white sheet of paper to a couple chopsticks (with clothespins for a base).
The window (just off-screen) served as the primary source of the light, which hits the room just right in the early part of the morning. Anita, sitting on the couch, kept yelling, “Hurry up people, we’re losing light.” and “Quiet. Quiet on set. We’re gonna roll on this one.”
